Not A Post For Naught

I did a gratuitous post for Jeremy Irons' son Max last week when the rumor mill had him possibly being cast in the fourth Pirates of the Carribean flick, but then that role went to somebody else and I worried we'd never hear from the boy again and that post had been a waste. Thankfully nepotism never dies and his career's doing fine and he's hooked himself a role in an interesting project. Via here:

"Warner Bros. has filled in the third slot of the love triangle at the heart of "The Girl With the Red Riding Hood," its gothic horror reimagining of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, bringing on board Max Irons, the son of actor Jeremy Irons.

Also in talks for key roles are Julie Christie and Gary Oldman.

Amanda Seyfried is already cast in the Catherine Hardwicke-directed project, playing a woman in a medieval village being terrorized by a werewolf. Earlier this week, Shiloh Fernandez nabbed the role of an orphaned woodcutter for whom Seyfried falls, much to the displeasure of her family.

Irons will play Henri, the son of a blacksmith who, through an arrangement, is to marry Seyfried's character. "

I almost did a post when that Shiloh Fernandez fellow got his role earlier this week, I even gathered up some pictures of him, but something about his face bugged me so I didn't bother. That's him to the left there. He's kind of like that skeevy guy from Gossip Girl, only possibly skeevier, right? Like, he's that guy's drug-dealing twin.
