How Good Was This Past Week's Dollhouse?

.

Just got around to watching the last episode "Belonging" last night, and was that or was that not an episode for the ages? It's always a good sign when Dushku's slid down to supporting status but even she was good in her limited role. Plus Topher was great and I'm usually much less on-board with him than most fans of the show seem to be. But the hour belonged to Sierra and Victor and my beloved Adelle and they were all prime, per usual. I laughed, I cried, I was reduced to using the phrase, "I laughed, I cried," in describing my reaction to the episode, everything! It had it all. Including a renewed pang of sadness that the show presumably will not last past the 13 episodes in the can. If only every episode were like this one!

Laughed and cried - I completely agree, and I also agree that the episodes where ED is not the focus are usually superior. I thought Topher's character grew leaps and bounds in this episode, moving him (and his relationship with Adele) much nearer to the Epitaph ep. And I was pysched to delve into Sierra's sketchy introduction to the Dollhouse.
