--- Hit RECord - I posted on the possibility of this happening here, but now it's official - the first-person Spanish zombie flick [REC] is finally getting a US DVD release, says Fangoria. It's hitting the shelves on July 14th, just in time for my birthday!

--- I Dismember Mama - This is one of those ideas that, if you're anything like me, you kinda slap yourself on the forehead and go, "D'oh!" over not having thought it up yourself. Guillermo del Toro is producing a horror film called Mama where two little girls are stalked by the ghost of their dead mother. D'oh, ya know? That could be wonderful and fucked up and wonderful some more. Sigh.

--- Me Want - Those lucky folks who make their way to the San Diego ComiCon this Summer will have the opportunity to purchase a Con-exclusive DVD box-set of Dollhouse which will include the original pilot episode (which apparently won't be on the normal DVDs for the mere mortals who can't make it to SDCC).

--- Double Synecdoche - Fellini's 8 1/2 I must regretably admit is still on my To-Watch list (I know!), so I can't much say whether the author of this article comparing that film with Charlie Kaufman's Synecdoche, New York is onto something or not (the word "rip-off" is actually conjured up). But y'all might be able to!

--- Off To Ludlow - I hope y'all have been following the exploits detailed in Final Girl Stacie Ponder's write-up of her recent excursion into the desert wilds to make a horror movie. So far we've been gifted with two installments - here is Part One and here is Part Two - with more to come... and maybe we'll even get to see some of the movie...? Eh...? Stacie? Eh...? I say repeatedly in my creepiest suggestive tone.
