I don't know what that is on Ryan Gosling's shirt in this new cute picture of him (via), but all I'm seeing is Rorschach. Rorschach Rorschach everywhere, ahhh!!! What would a psychologist say if their patient was seeing ink-blots everywhere they look anyway? What is that diagnosis?
Anyway yes I know that this flick is everywhere and I'm part of the problem, not part of the solution - I've gone and made a Watchmen banner up there at the top, I've posted on the film like twelve billion times this week - but I can't help it, y'all, my knickers be twisted in anticipation.
I have not seen the film yet; I am not seeing the film until tomorrow. If any of you have seen the film, or when you do see it, tell me what you thought in the comments. Meanwhile, I'm going to try and dial down my expectations as best as I can. (ed. - I can't!)

I don't want to get you too excited, but I LOVED "Watchmen." I read the graphic novel probably before you were even born, and deliberately avoided doing so again before seeing it. Snyder did a terrific job and Jackie-Earle Haley steals the film. And I didn't miss the squid at all.
Cutting the squid was a wise decision. I liked it exactly the same as I liked the comic. The differences between the two are negligible.
