--- Wiki-Doc- This is an unexpected and odd bit of news - Scott Glosserman, the director of the excellent faux-doc slasher-flick Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, has gone and directed a documentary about the creation of Wikipedia. You can read a little about how it came to be and watch the trailer over at Twitch. I did not see this one coming.
--- Caprica Approaches - The Battlestar Galactica prequel movie is being released on DVD on April 21st, well before the spin-off series of the same name will air (that doesn't come til sometime next year). No word if the movie will actually air between now and then.
--- What Gives, Steve? Soderbergh has apparently put that crazy-ass Cleopatra rock-n-roll musical on hold to film a baseball movie starring Brad Pitt. And Pitt's not even playing a baseball player but rather a coach, thereby essentially killing any hopes of his prancing around a locker-room in just a jock-strap, all but squashing any reason to care. Way to totally de-gay your line-up, man.
--- Hit The Border - The guy who wrote The Truman Show and wrote/directed Gattaca, Andrew Niccol, has his next project lined up called The Cross, and it sounds interesting, give or take one's ability to stomach Orlando Bloom. Vincent Cassel like outweighs my Bloom dislike so this thing is in the black in my opinion. This reminds me I need to rewatch Gattaca very soon.
