Quote of the Day

I always feel so silly declaring the following sorts of things as "quote(s) of the day" when there are people like Barack Obama out there with a microphone in front of them, but I don't think anything could make me more excited to hear today than the following... from a review of an early screening of Sam Raimi's Triumphant Return To Horror Filmmaking, Drag Me To Hell, comes this tidbit from a writer who'd already read the script beforehand to the film and walked into the screening with low expectations because of said script:

"I was proven very, very wrong in my misjudgment of Sam Raimi's ability to execute this story."

The review gets spoilery almost immediately thereafter so I stopped reading it, but feel free if you're so inclined. Let me just iterate this factoid however: Sam Raimi + Horror = This Geek's Nirvana Place. That it might be a total success is enough to make my brain bleed glee juice. I don't know exactly what glee juice is... perhaps is something akin to "spooky punch."
