I Am Link

--- The Virgin Sprung - The trailer for the remake of The Last House on the Left has arrived. Rejoice, all ye lovers of recycled-Bergman snuff smut!

--- The Virgins Scream - DreadCentral has some newish pictures from Last House, as well as Wes Craven's upcoming movie 25/8 as well as well as Sam Raimi's Drag Me To Hell (that's star Alison Lohman getting her open-grave butch on there to the left).

--- Tis The Season for looking ahead to what's coming out movie-wise this year; check this post and this post at Low Resolution and this post at io9 for what matters.

--- Fill In The Blank of The Dead - This is a couple of days old but I forgot to post it - check out an early trailer-ish type thingy for George Romero's next zombie opus right on here.

--- If wishes were hopes that your wet dreams made then this open letter from Watchmen producer Lloyd Levin would still nothing more than a load of hopeful hot air. But it's nice, thinking that morals might apply where Hollywood is concerned, ain't it? Just for a sec?

I feel a little dirty to say it, but I'm kind of excited about the Last House remake. Let's face it, the original is somewhat ridiculously overrated. It's low-budget and has weird inappropriate slapstick interludes before the rapin' and disemboweling and dick bitin' starts.

But the "Sweet Child O Mine" remake over everything kind of has me thinking ... this might be some trashy goodness.
