I was all set to pop in here with my usual schtick of "Any trailer that begins with a shirtless Ryan Phillippe is worth watching in my book..." while watching this trailer for the movie Franklyn, but then I kept watching the trailer and saw that I found myself more hypnotized by what a beautiful pair Eva Green (duh) and Sam Riley (he played Ian Curtis in last year's Joy Division biopic Control) make.

Pretty pretty.
Plus Ryan's wearing a weird mask for most of the trailer so it's hard to get a handle on his prettiness in the middle. Still, that's a threesome worth its weight in pure imagination, no?
Anyway, Franklyn, according to AICN where I found the link, is set for release in the UK next month but no word on anything here in the States. Never heard anything about the movie before, but it looks and sounds kinda interesting. And pretty pretty pretty.

that's an interesting trailer, I hope if it ever gets released here that you see more of Ryan in the movie. I'm surprised his name isn't 1st in the credits.
