My 20 Favorite Actresses

.

I got tagged by Nat at The Film Experience to choose my twenty favorite actresses. So there they are. Click the image to embiggen. Here's who's there in alphabetical order:

Joan Allen, Ingrid Bergman, Juliette Binoche, Cate Blanchett, Ellen Burstyn, Toni Collette, Faye Dunaway, Isabelle Huppert, Diane Keaton, Grace Kelly, Frances McDormand, Samantha Morton, Christina Ricci, Sissy Spacek, Emma Thompson, Kathleen Turner, Liv Ullman, Emily Watson, Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet

Ask me five minutes from now and I'd change out some of these for others because I am wishy-washy as all get-out (I've already revised that picture three times before posting it!). There are like 20 more actresses vying for placement. This was freaking tough. I need a brain massage now. Anyway I just hooked onto the word "favorite" whenever it got tough to separate who I think are the Greatest Actresses of All Time versus those that just make me giddy. I went with the ladies that make me giddy. The ones I swoon over. Or, am swooniest over. So on down the rabbit hole of my brain.

Now I tag five more people... Glenn at Stale Popcorn, Aaron at Electronic Cerebrectomy, RJ at The Rural Juror, Piper at Lazy Eye Theater, and mB at A Blog Next Door.

No, Julianne Moore? I am about to take off and burn my new plaid pants in protest.

I should just do a 20 Other Favorite Actresses because I could. And yes, Juli would be there.

I agree with some of your choices but dtownla is right...no Julianne Moore (wonderful actress), and Felicity Huffman, or Meryl Streep (she has 2 Oscars).

Meryl's an amazing actress obviously but this is list is for favorites and while I like Meryl perfectly fine she is not one of my top favorites. I don't go out of my way to see a movie she is in.

Felicity Huffman... no.

You can make room for the amazing Patricia Clarkson by removing Diane "Men's Slacks Ain't Acting" Keaton.

Oh Diane Keaton. How I despise her.
