Much as I found the performance overrated: Southie. Easy.

While I agree with you that Southie is the only choice here - it's the only time I've ever found myself attracted to Mr. Dicaprio, actually - I do not agree that the performance was overrated, kind sir. I thought he was fantastic in The Departed, and not praised enough. Nuts to you, I say!

Southie scum. All tattooed and muscled up with great acting? Yes, please.

Even as a teenage boy-girl, he doesn't do a lot for me in Titanic. Now, Romeo + Juliet, on the other hand... *drools*

I also found him appealing in The Beach, actually, but yeah, the Leo thing kind of passed me by.

And your overrating of Leo's twitch-tastic Departed performance only serves to prove my point so HA! He's not bad in the movie (which itself was pretty overrated), but ... eh.

Come on Joe… DiCaprio was pitch-perfect in THE DEPARTED. Nick Davis summed it up beautifully:

“Open-faced with fear and astonishment, dallying in macho even as he quivers in dire expectation, DiCaprio justifies thirteen years of hype in The Departed.”

But back to the Who’s Hotter question: You know, I’m actually gonna say “Jack Dawson” (that hair)… although Leo has never been more smoldering hot than in ROMEO + JULIET.

Dude, he was so hot in "The Departed" that even his psychiatrist couldn't resist banging him!
