Good news in Kristen Bell admiring land - she's signed up for another movie! Now she's getting play Jason Bateman's wife. Via DH:"Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman have joined Universal Pictures "Couples Retreat" says The Hollywood Reporter.
The Jon Favreau-scripted and Peter Billingsley-directed comedy revolves around four couples who go to a tropical island resort, with one couple working on their marriage and the others sucked into the resort's couples therapy.
Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Jason Bateman and Faizon Love are the men. Bell is playing Bateman's wife, Davis plays Favreau's wife, and Akerman plays Vaughn's."
I can give or take Vince Vaughn these days, and pairing the stunningly beautiful Kristin Davis with the... not-so-much Jon Favreau is all sorts of wrong, but otherwise it sounds promising. Lord knows I love me some Malin "Juna on The Comeback and the Silk Spectre" Akerman..

Jennifer Garner in Juno, Charlize Theron in Hancock, and now Kristen Bell in this new one? Jason Bateman's characters do pretty okay for themselves. Not that he doesn't totally earn all that hot tail, but it's worth mentioning.
Favreau used to be hot (ever see him on "Friends?"). He certainly has the potential to be so again. Aw, who the hell am I kidding? This bear-lovin' bear would give him a tumble any day.
His big head has always scared me.
