I Am Link

--- Miss Acker If You're Nasty - SciFi Wire has got a chat with my love Amy Acker up, in which she discusses how she came to find herself reunited with Joss Whedon for Dollhouse, and what all her place on the show entails. I swear... this show... it cannot get here quick enough. Eliza! Joss! Amy! Tahmoh! I am going to fucking faint.

--- What Fall Ahead - Low Resolution takes a look at the movies coming out between now and the end of the month. Can it be Friday and can I be sitting in the theater watching Burn After Reading already?

--- Suddenly Yesterday - I suck so bad, I missed Film Experience's Musical of the Month series yesterday, and I swore I'd do it because it was a musical I actually adore - Little Shop of Horrors. Still, head over to TFE to find all the posts celebrating Ellen Greene & Co. And I'll go whip myself with alien-plant-tentacles as punishment.

--- Monsters on a Plane - BD has got the synopsis (here) and the first poster (here) for Bat Out of Hell, the movie written by those dudes from AICN and directed by the fantastic (and fantastically underrated) Joe "Gremlins" Dante.

--- The Word Is "Coprophagia" - FourFour and a friend talk about Salo.

--- Who Ya Gonna Call - Harold Ramis (Egon!) offered up some more details on Ghostbusters 3 to the Chicago Tribune. Sounds like it's definitely all about passing the baton to a younger batch of 'Busters, and Bill Murray will probably definitely be somewhat slightly at some level involved maybe. Whither Siggy?

--- And finally, AICN reviews the first episode of the new At The Movies, sans Ebert, Roeper... sans common sense, movie knowledge, intelligence of any kind... I could keep going... I cannot tell you how horrendous Ben Lyons is to me. He is just awful. I didn't catch the show - if I had, I might've snapped, done the genocide thing.
