The rumors are true! I totally suck. Due to my time-crunch whilst traveling, I haven't seen either of the weekend's number one and number two offerings yet... those being Wall*E and Wanted, of course. Yes, both movies my innards are wound into knots, and have been for weeks, with wanting to see. I couldn't finagle the time to do so. I suck!
Soon I will behold them. Stay tuned. I was going to use this post as a means to tell the entire internet to shut up and not spoil these movies for me until I catch up, but that's playing with fire. And anyway I've already heard plenty - Wall*E's charms, Wanted's bruises. I wish I could skip out of my office and go have a double-feature right this second, really. If wishes were clams I'd be knee-deep in a snail's dinner.
PS - Thanks to a kind and generous soul, I did have one of the raddest (I'm totally working the word "rad" back into my vocabulary by the way) movie-going experiences - I got an an entire movie theater all to myself for a personal screening, set up just for me, this past weekend. I felt all VIP like a super-spy crossed with Gene Shalit. I saw Mongol, which was a heck'a fun. That's one gore-soaked Oscar nominee.

I haven't even seen Wanted yet, and I only saw Wall•E tonight! *bawls overdramatically*
My excuse: I couldn't see until yesterday - broke my glasses three weeks ago, tried out contacts but they were insubordinate and wouldn't go in my eye so I yelled "Screw you!" at them and flushed them down the toilet, and I FINALLY got a new pair of glasses yesterday and threw a tantrum in the store because I hated them and glasses in general and now contacts and I'm scared of any sort of laser so that rules that out - so I suck.
