No Robots Were Harmed In The Writing Of This Post

.

I'm fairly certain this question is a stupid sort, and will be met firmly, in unison, towards one of these choices (the one with the cartoon characters; oh wait, that clears up nothing) but here goes anyway: Should I see Wall*E or Wanted tonight? It's one or the other, and I'm leaning towards the obvious choice myself... I just thought y'all might want to toss a word in. Let's hear it! And by "it" I mean "nothing specific that will spoil me for either film beyiond how much I already am spoiled, which is a good amount already, because that sort of thing makes the baby Jesus cry, not that I give a crap about the baby Jesus, but who wants to listen to a crying baby all day anyway? Not me!"

Let me know in the comments.

See WALL-E! It was very sweet. Hopefully you'll be luckier than us and won't have some old guys sitting behind you chuckling, snuffling and snorting the whole time. It only took about 20 minutes for me to tune it out.

Screw it - go with Wanted. I'd much rather see the 150 or Less review of that than the robot movie (which is the best picture of the year by a good margin, BTW). Plus, James McAvoy. JAMES McAVOY.

I better see it soon, too...

Man, fuck WALL-E. (No, no. See WALL-E. Everybody loves it. Whatever.)

Assess your mood. WALL-E is an original and amazing film. Wanted has great visuals and is a lot of fun, but you can see the plot coming from far away.

Or, more pointedly, are you in the mood for cute robots or a shirtless James McAvoy?

Wanted, easily. Timur did a nice job. It's neither new, nor daring, but it did inspire the writer of Pajiba's review to title the piece, "I Want to Fuck This Movie." Plus James is rather hot.

Also, shonuff makes a great point.
