Unfortunately I don't mean they're making a Part 3, although I really don't understand why Gremlins as a property has lain dormant for 18 years. I can't be the only person who loved the second movie, right? It's a recognizable brand-name, and isn't that all Hollywood cares about anymore? Alvin & The Chipmunks can be made into a movie - a huge hit, even - but not a third Gremlins? Joe Dante is still making movies - why can't he complete a trilogy? And I think Zach Galligan's schedule might just have an opening. Damn. Anyway, the Gremlins of yore showed up in a new advertisment for BT across the pond; take a look-see and reminisce over the best damned little monsters ever:

Gremlins 2 is one of my all time favorites. I still haven't been able to look at Lincoln's Birthday the same way since.
LOVE that commercial and love the Gremlins! I remember going to check out part 2 as a young lad. It was the middle of summer, and my counsins and I were being let out of the house for hot night on the town (translation--we were being dropped off at the tiny theater in our little hick town with prompt orders to be back out front by 9:00 sharp!). Those were the days...that spider one was kind of scary...oh, and I came straight home and created a Gizmo bow and arrow using a paperclip, rubberband, and pencil stub!
Love the commercial, love Gremlins, love Gremlins 2. Gremlins 2 is especially fun, being that it's a big Looney Tunes cartoon. Why not a third movie, I echo?
