Is anybody else feeling a tickle of excitement begin to grow with regards to James Cameron's Avatar? Well stop it! I speak to myself as much as I do to you - we've got a long way, baby, until this thing hits theaters. As for now though, every little bit of info that comes out is peaking my interest, like this chat with Zoe Saldana at io9, where she talks both about her role as Uhura in JJ Abrams' Star Trek movie as well as her role in Avatar. Of the latter, she says:
"Given the female characters that James Cameron is known to write, it's just the most impressive ass-kicking girl I've ever played, it's pretty cool."
Bringing the ghosts of Ripley and Sarah Connor into the room... yes please... now please...
