Don't Talk To About Strangers

I almost feel as if I could be jinxing The Strangers May 30th release date by even posting about it. You might remember it was supposed to come out in August of last year. You may also remember that everything I show any interest in ever seeing turns to dust. I live in fear. Anyway, STYD has a new poster for the film that utilizes the trailer's creepiest image:

Nice. Not as nice as that original retro poster of course, but creepy nonetheless. I hope this movie's as fun and spooky as the terrific trailer suggests.

There's also a new interview with Scott Speedman over at STYD in which he briefly speaks on the film, as well as the serial killer flick Anamorph that's playing here in NYC right now... that I know nothing about. Whoopsie; another missed one.

Oh my god, that trailer was terrifying! And I was totally expecting another run-of-the-mill slasher flick.

I love that they didn't accentuate the scene with Tyler and the stranger's intrusion. The lack of music or sound in that moment made my hairs stand up.

Hope the release date sticks.

Looking forward to this!
Although I thought that moment in the trailer that they made into a poster was a bit awkward... They way she stands there just looks too staged!
Also keen to see how close the film resembles Ills (if at all).
