The Greatest Movie...

... in which Tori Amos is the Zombie Patient Zero?

It's hard to tell from those pics, but the DVD I got from Netflix was scratched and wouldn't allow me to take screencaps so I can't prove it any further, so you're just gonna have to take my word for it (unless you're inclined to watch this relatively crappy movie yourself, in which case, godspeed), but it's crazy how much this zombie looked like Tori Amos when she first appeared. When she first shows up, she's un-zombified, and I expected her to start telling me stories about the Faerie Queen. It was weird. And then she goes making with the flesh-gulping and it only gets weirder. The actress is Laura Cayouette and you can check out some pics of her here; it's only at certain angles that the resemblance is strongest, though.

As for the movie... it did have its moments. It really was as if someone had gotten their hands on a copy of the script for Snakes on a Plane and just crossed off the word "snake" where ever it was written and scratched in "zombie." But... it did have an elderly zombie gumming someone, and a nun getting her legs chewed off, and a zombie being stabbed through the mouth with an umbrella which is then opened up at the backside of their head (where's the Rihanna on the soundtrack when you most need it?). So... some fun stuff. But intolerably stretched out with no story and terrible dialogue. Perhaps a wee bit better than your average SciFi movie, I'd say.

Hahahaha. I wish Tori WOULD do a zombie film. You just know she has it in her.
