Beedle the Bard

So that copy of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, numero seven out of an, ahem, highly exclusive seven copies, that JK Rowling hand-wrote and illustrated herself and sold for charity for 4 million bucks? It was apparently purchased by Amazon.com, and they've got a slew of exclusive images up on their website. Here are a couple for y'all to peruse as I seethe with jealous rage.

Check out more, plus excerpts from the book, at Amazon.

Sigh. The other six copies went to people intimately associated with Harry Potter. So to speak. I bet you that little punk Danny Radcliffe got one. Just wait til he starts on the smack; that'll be the first thing to go.

JA, have I told you how much of a sick, sick genius you are?

Oh, I have? In triplicate? For the last six months? Straight?

Oh, well, then...

JA, YOU ARE GOD.

I truly wonder, though, how much he could actually get for that... [ponders]

There you go; all you need to do now is become Radcliffe's smack dealer and hook him long enough to get the book in trade for a giant fix.
