I Am Monday Morning's Link

--- Indiana Jones and the Case of the Crystal Pepsi - So everybody's seen it by now, I'm sure, but the title for Indy 4 was revealed over the weekend... I was really hoping for City of the Gods, to be honest, but perhaps this'll grow on me. If I feel generous. In the future. I am feeling generous towards that picture ---> of Harrison Ford though. Rowr.

--- Awesome Aussie Horror - Glenn at Stale Popcorn gunned for my happy-button today, posting about his tête-à-tête with Wolf Creek director (and "silver fox") Greg McLean at a screening for his new film, Rogue (grrr jealous), and giving us a thorough history of the Australian Horror canon. Indispensable stuff!

--- See Benicio Del Toro make his wolf-face! Who needs make-up, right? Though having Certified-Genius Rick Baker on it does inspire confidence, to put it lightly. I'm more excited about Mark Romanek's The Wolf Man project by the minute.

--- Confirmation on shit news - SciFi, the cable channel that doesn't know how to handle jack, is splitting the final season of Battlestar Galactica into two halves, with the second half to air... christ knows when. And I'm sure they'll sell the DVDs seperately as well. A-holes! I mean... they've got me over a barrel, since I'll certainly be watching it whenever they air it, since the show itself is the best thing on television, but it does not make this fan happy, and will keep me from watching anything else on their network. Except Ice Spiders. I can't seem to change the channel when Ice Spiders is on. Or Mansquito. Sigh.

--- Sean Penn is going to play Harvey Milk in Gus Van Sant's biopic of the first openly-gay elected official, and Matt Damon will play his killer. It actually looks like Van Sant's gonna get it off the ground before Bryan Singer gets to his Milk-related picture.

Sean Penn + Matt Damon + Gus Van Sant + Harvey Milk bio pic = me thrilled! I think that's brilliant casting, uber-excited.

Yeah, I'm not terribly familiar with the Harvey Milk story, I just know the basic gist, but Penn's a pretty good casting choice physically, I think
