Ruth Stoops (Laura Dern),
Citizen Ruth
"I'm not a colored woman!"
How genius is Laura Dern in this movie? I literally watched three minutes of the movie last night in between episodes of my all-weekend Heroes marathon (sidenote: yes, I watched the entire damned thing; the sacrifices I make for my Kristen Bell! I kid, it was good), and in just three minutes she had me laughing until I was practically crying. I'll definitely watch it again later this week, more than three minutes this time, to revel in her brilliance. Remind me how this woman doesn't have an Oscar? Gah.

Have I told you this past week how much I truly hate and despise you? Because I do.
Didn't I just say a couple of weeks ago on my blog that I'm terrified of clowns and that I will never see It for that reason? DIDN'T I?!
I hope Rogue is never released in America as your punishment for making me scream every time I come here.
*scowl* grrr
Oh, and I love Laura Dern. That is all. I'm off to sleep.
Hee. My apologies, Glenn. It's actually one of my favorite banners I've done, so far, though. So I might keep it up for a bit. I'm helping you deal with your fears, see??? ;-)
Word. I saw this when it first came out, I was too young to understand it. Watched it again in college and fell in love with it. Laura Dern, under-rated and under-used, it's unfortunate.
