Eat Drink Joss Woman

Novelist Suzanne Brockman bid $1100 dollars to eat dinner with Joss Whedon (along with four other bid-winning guests, including her husband) and wrote up the experience right here.

We learn Joss loves Newton Chardonnay, Sondheim, and his mother. And how everybody thought he way gay in high school. No, really? Brockman's a horrid tease with info:

"We talk about a screenplay called Cabin in the Woods that he's just written with Drew Goddard. (He actually tells us the plot, but I will not divulge it here. It's a horror movie, and it sounds amazing. I usually don't go to horror movies, but I will go see this one.)"

Give it up, woman! Gah!

A couple other highlights: he compares Emma Caulfield (Anya on Buffy) to Carole Lombard (Then put her in whatever you do next, Joss! We miss her!) and says the character he created that was most like himself was Wash (Alan Tudyk) in Firefly.
