89 Days Til Razor!

What's weird is I was contemplating doing a pointless post on Battlestar Galactica last night, because it was suddenly and randomly enveloping my brain, something along the lines of "It's only 90 days until the Battlestar Galactica: Razor TV movie airs!!!" (Psst... it's only 89 now!) But this morning real news appears, so I spare us all a semi-pointless post! Yay!

AICN has one of the possible covers for the DVD and all the release info - it comes out on December 4th, about a week and a half after it airs on SciFi on November 24th (that's the Saturday after Thanksgiving). Here's the summary of the mostly unknown plot:

"Battlestar Galactica: Razor takes you on an edge-of-your-seat adventure with an epic untold story of Lieutenant Kendra Shaw and the other Battlestar, Pegasus. Battlestar Galactica: Razor tells the story of Lee Adama's (Jamie Bamber) first mission as commander of the Battlestar Pegasus and reveals the story of how Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes) served her ship during the original Cylon attack on the Colonies. With clues to the fate of the entire Battlestar Galactica universe, this explosive adventure on DVD is a must own for fans before the final season of Battlestar Galactica airs on Sci Fi Channel."

Yeah, ain't telling us much, 'cept what we'd pretty much already gathered. But I cannot wait all the same. I miss my Starbuck & Co.!

ETA I missed it skimming through quickly last time, but that blurb above does make mention that the movie will be the "epic untold story of Lieutenant Kendra Shaw," which is sorta news, at least to me - I don't know if we've heard Shaw mentioned before - maybe in the previous episodes dealing with the Pegasus? - but we certainly haven't seen her yet, and looking at the Razor IMDb page I see she's to be played by Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen, who's completely unknown to me, but that's her to the right there. So I'm guessing the story will revolve around this new character. Played by that lady. That is all.
