I suppose we can expect
Dedication to hit theaters on its scheduled release date of August 24th because (yes, I'm about to say something slightly, if passive-aggressively, positive about Harvey Weinstein; cover your eyes!) the Weinsteins usually do okay distributing little indie rom-com type movies, as long as no knife-wielding is involved.
I posted about Dedication way back when it played Sundance in January; it's the movie directed by MNPP-love
Justin Theroux and stars Billy Crudup as some sort of misogynistic children's book author - think Dr. Suess meets
Bad Santa, I

guess - and it co-stars Mandy Moore as well as, and more importantly,
Amy Sedaris; that's Theroux and Sedaris there to the left, warming my dead heart.
Today
Cinematical revealed the movie's indie-whimsical poster (at the top) and it's August 24th date. Can't wait to get my eyes on this one.

You can't go wrong with Amy Sedaris. Well, you can, but let's just focus on the good stuff! She's one of a kind. I was a bit disappointed with Strangers w/ Candy, the movie. Now, it wasn't the worst thing every, but it could have been much better. However, when Amy does her thing; she really rocks!
I agree, the SWC movie was a bit of a letdown. It had its moments but could've... SHOULD'VE been much better. I haven't even seen it since the first time in the theater; I'd rather just watch and rewatch episodes from the series and remember it when it was genius.
But yes, I adore Amy.
