Peek-A-Jake

I know these pics are super-old and we've all probably seen them a million times over (or maybe that's just me), but these are the largest versions (seriously, click on 'em) I've ever found and anyway, on a Monday morning when all my bones are aching from learning to ride a bike yesterday, these brought me a moment of painlessness that I figure I, being like the cyber-Mother-Theresa, should share:

Looking at these is like injecting morphine directly into my eyeballs. I can't believe I've never sent Dustin Hoffman a thank-you-note!

Whoa, these pictures are almost lifelike! It's like Jake is in my living room, shirtless. Thank you Saint Ja, for this mental image.

"Qantas is the only airline that's ever crashed...NARM!"

That really has nothing to do with that but...I've seen it before and it still leaves me speechless for at least 5 different reasons.

Nice... Thanks JA. I am sure you already know, but if you don't Jake is available to you again, tell the boyfriend to watch out...

Jake and Reese no more??

So, JA, I noticed you watched Sophie Scholl. So, yeah... :damn:

Yeah, I watched it yesterday and it was quite excellent JD, so thanks for getting me round to watching it. LOVED Julia Jentsch as Sophie; the one-on-one scenes between her and Alexander Held as her examiner were riveting stuff. It was good to see a film on Germans who were actively horrified by what was going on in their country since it's an angle that I'd never really seen explored (though to be honest I haven't watched loads of WWII-centered films, esp. lately, since I've gotten a bit fatigued by it).

Very glad to hear it. Don't forget to review it -- or our contract is null! Muahahaha!

Man. I'd never seen them that big before! I remember seeing these pictures years ago and thinking "Okay, this man is different". Different as opposed to all the other up-and-comers at the time who were the preened waxed sorts that I wish would brow a pair and be men.
