"I now forgive Calvin Klein for previously hiring Justin Bieber as a model. I literally stopped buying the brand at that. I will reconsider now."--- MNPP commenter Dan approves, as do we all, of CK's use of Aaron Taylor-Johnson as their latest underwear model. Our baby boy is looking good!

Hmm. As a kid, I loved Star Wars. As an adult, not so much.
I once read on an IMDb board, the poster went to see Star Wars but it was full, so he went to Suspiria instead. Maybe I'm just weird, but I'd rather watch Suspiria.
Besides, Luke Skywalker was such a whiny wiener in that movie.
Yeh, I was never a massive Star Wars fan. I liked the first trilogy as a kid, but I wasn't buying the figures or sheets or anything.
And I would pick Suspiria over Star Wars without a second thought.
I like the original Star Wars in that it's sort of fun popcorn entertainment, but I don't remember much about the other two, and the new movies are all pretty dire.
For a movie geek I just didn't care enough about these movies. What's so special about them as opposed to so many other movies?
There's just a very specific group of people - really, boys a coupe years older than me; I was too young, I wasn't born until after the first one was just out... yes, hello 30th bday in two months for me! - who are now the geeks in control of things; they're the ones making movies now and writing magazine articles and whatnot, that were deeply affected by Star Wars when it came out. I know plenty of these people, hell my last boyfriend was one, and it was AN EXPERIENCE for them as kids.
I still need to see this movie. I saw the one with Carrie Fisher in the metal bikini and I liked the ewoks.
