Quote of the Day

This is Neil Gaiman writing in his online journal (via Twitch):

"There seems to be an awful lot of travel in my future, now that I just want to stay home and walk the dog and write. Two college graduations (Holly's this weekend, Mike's next weekend) over the next two weeks, then the UK STARDUST trip. In addition to which, I had tea with the amazing Guillermo Del Toro yesterday in London, and... well, we'll see. But it may involve another plane journey."

That is a tease that is unjust, and I think I might have to sue Neil Gaiman for emotional distress. The mind reels with the possibilities of these two working together. Our mine does, at least.

I watched Pan's Labyrinth again last evening while doing some other things (ahem), and I still think it's one of the best films of last year. Hell, it gets richer with each viewing. And, over this past weekend I finally got around to reading Stardust, and I flew through the entire book in the course of an afternoon; it was mad fun, and I'm really looking forward to the film now.
