So, loved the episode, blah blah blah. Kinda saw the reveal of the four hearing music to all be Cylons coming, though I kept hoping it wouldn't turn out to be true. In fact, I kinda kept hoping it'd turn out to be a false assumption on their parts even through today til I just read this interview with show-runner Ron Moore, in which he says definitively that Tigh, Tory, Anders and Chief are totally Cylons, but special, as they're really for sure 100% part of the Final Five.
You need to check out that interview, btw, it's filled with great info. Most enthralling is his news on what that 2-hour movie coming this Fall will be:
"R: Where do the plans stand for a direct-to-DVD movie that flashes back to tell more of the story of the Pegasus and Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes)?
RM: It's really just a couple of extra episodes for the fourth season that will air earlier than the rest of the season, sometime in the fall. They'll come out on DVD the next day.
R: Which cast members are in these two, one-hour extra episodes?
RM: The whole cast.
R: Why flashbacks?
RM: There is a tie from these episodes into the events in season four. ... It's an opportunity to set up something for the fourth season that had not been told to the audience and that the characters themselves hadn't realized, and then go into the fourth season."
Awesome, awesome news that the movie's more of two episodes that'll lead into the 4th season; I wasn't really crazy about the thought of the movie being a stand-alone story.
Was soooo happy (and shocked - I figured she would come back, but I thought they'd wait til next season) to see Starbuck turn up last night, even though there will surely be questions of what this version of Starbuck is, exactly. Is she dead? Is she the final Cylon? Good gravy, so many questions...
