Wow there's some major casting downgrading going on today.
Well okay, the first could almost be considered a tie, I have a lot of love for Chris Walken, but Jim Broadbent's got some esteemed movie-musical chops (not to mention just being a damned fine actor) and was really classing up that Hairpsray joint before leaving. I mean, Walken will be in anything. Poor guy. I'm holding out hope he'll pull another Catch Me If You Can caliber performance. And soon.
But Prison Break's Dominic Purcell replacing the one and only Eric Bana as Bruce Banner in the Hulk series? I know they're unhappy with Ang Lee's film and want to reset the whole thing, but... are they going for straight-to-video? Yuck. I guess Purcell's roid-rage face will fit well enough into the part, but he skeeves me out.

Dominic Purcell is icky. I hate celebrities that look and act like he does.
I find it odd that they managed to replace Eric Bana with another Australian.
