It's Pee-Wee-mania today!I actually watched a couple episodes of the Playhouse over the weekend, and I've got that highly-catchy theme song wedged firmly in my brain ("There's a couple a talkin' fish / And a genie who grants a wish"), so it's appropriate that I post a couple times on my favorite bow-tied crazy man.
According to EW.com, Mr. Herman himself, Paul Reubens, is going to be on Letterman tomorrow night to promote the Playhouse being shown on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
Reubens gets way too much shit and not nearly enough praise for the genius he is. I hope he gets some credit for a change. I wouldn't be the man I am today without him!
And yes, that's small praise indeed.
