I have this really terrible habit of cutting my sideburns and the hair above my ears while sitting here at my desk. No mirror to look in, just snipping away carelessly whenever I feel a stray strand rubbing against my ear. It's a neurotic thing, and it usually ends up with the hair around that area being choppy and, well, butchered.

And now I can consider my ear likewise, because I just sliced open the back of it with said scissors! Good times! Nothing says "professional" at work like having a band-aid wrapped around the top of your ear!
