When I went to the Armory Show here in Manhattan two weekends ago I saw some works by the Chapman Brothers and thought they were great. I can't find any of the new stuff online, but the Brothers are apparently well-known for their series of deformed girl mannequins from a few years back (which I found out were shown a couple of years ago right in my neighborhood and which the boyfriend got to see). They look pretty nifty, I must say.
