Harry Knowles is usually even a little too geeky for me to deal with (and that's saying a bunch) but his palpable excitement for Grind (apparently now retitled from Grind House), the two-sectioned film by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, has infected me bad.
Specifically the news that Tarantino will be making a "variation on a Slasher film"... one of our greatest living (and personal fave) filmmakers, taking on my absolute favorite, much-maligned horror sub-genre? Um. Yes? Pleeeeeease?
And I have a great deal of affection for the somewhat sloppy From Dust Till Dawn (I typo'd "From Duck Til Dawn" there the first time, which would make for a very different, yet probably awesome film as well) , so I'm excited to see what Rodriguez does with zombies this time out for his section of Grind.
