...

I somehow hadn't realized until this morning that the 14th of January is this Saturday, and that's the day the boyfriend and I will be seeing the lovely Sufjan Stevens perform at Lincoln Center. Yahoo!
I went to his website and checked what it has to say about the show and it's the complete opposite of what I was expecting. I was expecting a low-key, maybe acoustic take on his stuff, but his site describes the show thusly:
"Sufjan will be performing with strings, horns, and a full band in the distinctive contours of the Allen Room, a 500-capacity theater with a unique view over Columbus Circle. This uncommon performance will feature new arrangements of familiar songs from Seven Swans, Michigan, and Illinois, as well as one or two new 'pieces.'"
And look at the room:

Hoo boy! Now I really can't wait. Though the thought occurs to me, what the hell should I wear to this thing? I gots to gets all fancy and shit! Time to break out the Tuxedo T-shirt and Piano Keys Necktie!
