I haven't seen any of the SCOTUS hearing except a tiny snippet, but the only thing I really noticed was this:
WHAT THE HELL? The man is out of his mind. I couldn't pay attention to anything because... hello? CRAZY EYES. At this point I don't care what his record is, I don't care how articulate an argument he can make for himself, THE MAN HAS CRAZY EYES. Like, the CRAZIEST of Crazy Eyes.
I am supposed to believe a word this man says? He looks as if he just shat on his mama's gardenia bush and she's a'comin' with a switch.

I'm not going to argue the man's intelligence, from everything I've read he's very smart. And sure he's going to sweep in without much resistance because he's a question mark without enough of a record to really tear into, and coming from the Bush Admin he's probably the best we can expect.
But I don't care how damn "brilliant" the man is, he's coming with the stamp of approval from a complete failure of a President and that is enough to discredit the man for me.
So rant and rave I shall.
