A happy 53rd birthday to the great Yorgos Lanthimos! Our favorite Greek pervert (director edition) is supposedly off recharging his batteries post-Bugonia -- we can't say we blame him since he'd been working at one hell of a clip since The Lobster -- six movies in ten years is a feat! And even more impressive -- every single one of them rules. As do all of the ones before The Lobster. Basically -- our man earned a break. But let's hope it's not too too long. We'll give him til next year to announce something. If it gets into 2028 territory and we still haven't heard anything we're gonna get real antsy. I mean -- he's one of the great documentarians of our current mad era. We need his voice. Not to mention his sexy bearish presence.
