I though this might be amusing … We have a large, historic cinema which juggles current films (Art House, a lot of Austrian and German films, the occasional blockbuster) with classics screened in 70mm, and a venue for chats (Fran Lebowitz and David Sedaris are on the plan for the coming winter), stand-up comedy, and festivals which it makes up.
It is currently having “SadFest 2026”. The films being screened are: “Ordinary People”, “Kramer vs. Kramer”, “The Last Picture Show”, “Barfly”, “Imitation of Life”, “Her”, “Taxi Driver”, “Ladri di biciclette”, “The English Patient”, and “Brokeback Mountain”.
