It's been far too long (five entire years in fact) since we've had a moment to check in with dreamy French-Algerian actor Salim Kechiouche (you probably know him from Blue is the Warmest Color, if nothing else) -- apparently somebody decided to turn Jacques Audiard's 2009 masterpiece A Prophet into a T.V. series? And that's what these are from. Salim doesn't play the Tahar Rahim role (that's a newcomer named Mamadou Sidibé) but then I've no idea how closely this series hews to the movie.If I've got any French readers in the house please fill us in.
