A week ago I told you that Pedro Pascal might be taking over Joaquin Phoenix's last-second-abandoned role in Todd Haynes' next movie, which would see him making sweet sweet love to Danny Ramirez. And now we have this photo (via) of Pedro and Danny together? WHAT COULD IT MEAN???? I mean obviously we know what it means -- they're fucking. Cinematically! Cinematically of course. I would never insinuate otherwise. Not without photos. And whoever has those photos you can find my email address in the profile section of the sidebar!

You'd have to pay a lotta cash for those photos, Jason.
I'm so happy this project is moving forward. Danny Ramirez deserves a chance to be a lead, and I'm not at all bothered by the fact that his costar will now be gay. (Not to get into the Pedro discourse, but if he hasn't said anything explicit but behaves in such a way that everyone knows, how much is he really holding back?)
I’m not someone who thinks only gay actors should play gay roles. (That would mean a closeted gay actor who would be forced to come out of the closet to play a gay role.) But I do feel a little frustrated when “straight” actors play gay roles over and over. I wish they would either come out of the closet or decline the next gay role so another straight actor can play gay. Pedro is 50 years old, and if you search for his boyfriend or girlfriend, you get nothing except that he is “private”. The closest I found was that he was close friends with Sarah Paulson (who calls her own situation “fluid”). So Pedro, Paul Mescal, and Josh O’Connor all need to decline new gay roles and give someone else a chance to play gay.
