The first screening of Stuart Gordon's Lovecraftian horror-comedy classic Re-Animator was at the Cannes Film Festival  of all places on May 11th 1985, meaning the film officially turns 40 this Saturday! Give yourself some head to celebrate! Or if you're not quite that, ahem, limber, maybe just go buy the just-released 40th anniversary 4K edition of the movie that Ignite Films has put out...

Tthere are several different levels of special edition that they're selling including an "Ultimate Limited Edition" that includes, on top of the movie and all of the new special features they've wrangled together, your very own Dr. Hill bobblehead lol. I'm nerd enough that I do own a couple of collectible bobblehead figures but this might be my favorite one of those that I've ever seen. He's perfect.
