The Bear is pretty awful, esp if you have any restaurant experience. Muscles don't make it true.
The birthing episode was the most indulgent crap scene ever caught on film. Season 2 had a few moments, but most of these actors are over-rated and the series itself could be so much better with better writers. So tired of cartoonish acting (the Faks? sheez. just bad.) and rough draft writing captured at length for the sake of the egoes of all involved. And the final episode appears to be a documentary featuring some actual chefs putting their conceits on display (more cartoon characters). Fuck you. No, fuck you. No fuck you. NO... FUCK YOU! Over and over again. Just crap.

I bailed on that show after the first season episode where a bunch of kids at a birthday party get drugged and everyone is, like, okay with it? I liked some of it but tonally it was off, when they tried to inject humor it was just broad and dumb.
