When I wrote up yesterday's post about Yorgos Lanthimos' new movie Bugonia -- read that right here -- I remembered that I had this photo of Yorgos himself baring some flesh in the 2010 movie Attenberg and how could I not post it? Our Yorgos crush runs deep. He shows even more skin in this movie (like, a lot more) but I'm saving that for the day I actually get around to watching this movie, which I have not yet. Anyone out there seen it? Anyway hi it's Thursday which means it's my last day of the work week before my Summer Friday and I just wanna get through today unscathed. Is that too much to ask? Probably! Let's go for it anyway.

I knew he was hot! I knew it! He's gorgeous, always loved him, but what hot director shows off his body? We rarely get that chance. What paparazzi is gonna follow him at a beach or a yacht? Didn't even know he was an actor too. I'm downloading this right now.
In the movie Yorgos acts along with his future wife Ariane Labed, who actually got her breakthrough thanks to Attenberg, winning also the Volpi Cup as Best Actress in Venice Film Festival 2010 (the jury, which included Guadagnino and the President Tarantino, preferred her to Natalie Portman in Black Swan)
