Some news on the Karl Glusman front today -- the Neon Demon and Love actor and MNPP fave will next star opposite the delightful Samara Weaving in a heist thriller called Eenie Meanie, says Deadline. It's from writer-director Shawn Simmons who worked on that John Wick spin-off series The Continental -- did any of you watch that? I'm not really a John Wick fan (those movie's glorification of guns is way over the line for me) so I did not. Anyway here is the jist of Eeenie Meanie:
"... the film follows Edie (Weaving), a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavory past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend. Glusman plays Edie’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, John."
Weaving has been wonderful in everything I've ever seen her in (she stole the whole of Babylon in like three minutes of screentime) and I could see thse two making for a good pairing. Maybe this movie is why Karl's in the process of getting ripped (via his Insta):
