Quote of the Day

Over at Interview Magazine today there is a chat between actor Alexander Skarsgård and the photographer Juergen Teller -- Teller photographed Alex last year for the magazine in his typically weird sexy fashion -- about a new project... specifically a piece of short video art called Men where the two stumble around the Arctic half-naked together and, uhh... let's just let them say:

Skarsgård: I was born to crouch as you were squatting, taking a shit in the freezing cold Artic winter. That’s where I belong, in the shadow of your ass.
Teller: [Laughs] And when you put your hands in the back of my shorts, I thought, “Whoa, we are going a bit off script here.”
Skarsgård: It was a survival instinct. It was so fucking cold and I couldn’t feel my hands, and I realized the only warm part of your body was going to be your ass.

The video is part of Teller's new show at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris so I don't know if it will be available for public consumption, and to be honest I don't know how many of us want to see that. Hey feel free, whatever your kink, no kink-shaming here. But I might be fine without seeing all of that. These photos that Interview was nice enough to share though, they're acceptable. And the knowledge that if I am ever in a cold place and I see Alex I can offer for him to stick his hands down my pants without that being weird, I guess. That is worth knowing.

But did Alex reciprocate warmth? I mean fair is fair.

I have a friend who works for British Airways and he has met Alex a few times. First of all, you can't miss him he is so damn tall and secondly, he is a friendly, down-to-earth fellow.
