Since All of Us Strangers is finally hitting theaters tomorrow (look for theaters and dates here) and I'm heading off for the holidays (MNPP will be closed up until January 2nd... although pay attention to my socials cuz I do have some other stuff dropping) so who knows when I will get around to officially posting anything like a Top 10 here, I'm just gonna come right out and spoil that (not that this will surprise anybody who's been paying attention) -- Andrew Haigh's All of Us Strangers is my favorite movie of 2023. You're number one, baby! Here's my review from September -- I've seen a lot of other movies since then, a lot of fantastic other movies, but nothing's come along to move this gorgeous sad thing from that top spot. So go watch my boys (and girl) break your heart the minute you can, is my point! And come back here to tell me your thoughts -- leave comments on anything you see. I love to hear from my babies! And I'll see y'all in 2024 with plenty more nonsense...

Man, that Pajiba top ten is sort of wonky. JA I think you are quite drowned out in that group. But maybe I'm wrong. I haven't seen you list yet. If I remember right you like to wait until the year turns.
Yeah uhhh don't get me started on Pajiba's final list. I did vote for three of the movies that ended up on it though, that's not a terrible percentage. But my #1 (which as said in this post is All of Us Strangers) didn't make the cut at all which really kind of pisses me off, especially since I can't stand The Holdovers which inexplicably topped the list. I just think not enough of the staff has gotten the chance to see AOUS yet to be honest, which isn't their fault with its stupid late year release date.
Anyway my own personal Top 10 (or possibly 20 given what a good year I thought it was) might come earlier than usual this year since I've seen nearly everything I feel the need to've seen now. There's not much I can think of that I want to see that I haven't. There's plenty I haven't seen but I think I am okay not seeing Air, ya know?
