You have presumably heard the news before coming to MNPP that Nicky Hoult has been cast as Lex Luthor in the next Superman movie, subtitled Legacy and to be directed by James Gunn. And most importantly of all starring David "Swoon" Corenswet as our hero in blue tights. Y'all know my longstanding feelings on Nicky -- if not they can be summed by by one word, "yes" -- and we already know he can rock a bald head thanks to Mad Max Fury Road, so this is good news I guess! Okay so admittedly I don't really think Lex Luthor is the most exciting choice for the movie's villain, not when there are plenty of cool choices in the comics that we've never seen on-screen before. But I'm not going to bad-mouth some hot sweaty David vs Nicky action. Hopefully, whatever their differences are this time around, they can just wrestle them out. Like that Turkish Oil Wrestling thing? Yeah, do that.
