Did you see the news that Neon dropped today -- director David Robert Mitchell is making a sequel to his smash 2014 horror flick It Follows and oh my god that movie is almost a decade old??? Anyway as seen above it's called They Follow and it will star original star maika Monroe againa nd that's all we got so far. But that's plenty for me! I know some people hate this flick but I loves loves loves it -- the score, the vibe, the camera trickery that Mitchell employed. And the simple concept at its heart is just fucking creepy. The simple dissemination of evil, like a game of tag from hell. I just hope they don't go out of their way to explain too much of the stuff left vague by the first movie -- no elaborate backstories, please. Just more creepy people popping out of nowhere after extended excurtianingly tense builds, please!
