Bored out of my mind yesterday (even though I'm exceedingly busy) I stumbled upon this, uhh, generous photo of Mike Faist and Lucas Hedges in the stage adaptation of Brokeback Mountain that I told y'all about awhile back and which is right now still playing in London. Don't ask me where it came from, it was some rando Twitter account, but maybe you've seen more? And maybe you'll want to share a link to said more in the comments? But if not we can at least stop for a moment and appreciate this much! Have any readers been able to see the show?

I have! It's somewhat shorter than the film (we don't really see Jack's life in Texas). Mike Faist is a bit more charismatic and seductive than the Jack I remember. Lucas Hedges does the taciturn, angry Ennis quite well. A few bits (the musical interludes, old Ennis hanging around his own memories) don't work that well.
I liked it very much. A lot of critics review in unfavorably to the film but it's actually pretty true to the original story.
Where is the rest of Lucas' body? Is it off the side of the bed? It's freaking me out.
I know it's bad for me and I've already quit, but goddamnit smoking is still sexy as fuck.
