Good Morning, World

A happy 37 to Christopher Abbott today! Funny how Catch-22 director George Clooney was even more exploitative of Chris's naked flesh than Girls director Lena Dunham was, right? Right. And then Brandon Cronenberg blew them both out of the water with Possessor, haha. Anyway Chris has proven himself one of the finest actor of his age group if you ask me with those three aforementioned roles alongside his turns in Black Bear and On the Count of Three and and Piercing and alongside the ever-spectacular Melanie Lynskey in Hello I Must Be Going (what a great little movie that is), so let's give the boy some love today. What have you enjoyed him in so far? Any favorites? Tell me in the comments.

He gave a great performance in James White. Have you seen it yet? I remember at one time you were hesitant to watch it because of how intense it is.

Wow I can't remember you remember that -- and no I still haven't, and yes for the exact same reason haha. I am super lame. In my defense it's really more that I just kind of forget I need to watch it until the time that his birthday rolls around again, like right now. But I will make a note for myself!

"Wow I can't remember you remember that" -- obviously I meant "I can't BELIEVE you remember that" -- I am a groggy mess today, ugh

He's soooo good. Favorite performance - probably Piercing. But he's very good in James White, Catch-22, it's only one scene but I thought he was perfect in Vox Lux. And for the combo of hilarious/crushing, him on stage at the end of the Hannah's Diary episode of Girls - that's probably what I remember best about that entire series.
