... you can learn from:
Sex and Lucía (2001)
Lorenzo: The first advantage is at the end of the story. It doesn't finish, it falls in a hole. And the story startsagain halfway. The other advantage, and the biggest,is that you can change course along the way...If you let me. If you give me time.Elena: All the time you want.
The director's cut of Julio Medem's 2001 romance Sex and Lucía, featuring a terrific performance from wildly underrated actress Paz Vega as a young waitress whose boyfriend dies and she seeks out answers about his past, is hitting blu-ray today -- you can buy it over here. I haven't seen this since it came out in 2001 but I think of it every so often and I am looking forward to revisiting it. Any fans? I have a pretty distinct memory of the actor Daniel Freire making a big impression as well...

I knew the name Paz Vega sounded familiar from somewhere, I looked the name up and I remember Spanglish. I have not seen it
I loved this movie, I will have to watch it again! It brings back memories of extreme discomfort. I happened to see this movie (and Y Tu Mama Tambien?!?) with my mother, I think I sunk as far as one can sink into a movie theater seat during the scene on the beach / rise out of the mud. LOL
